General Secretary Jinping Xi pointed out that advancing into the deep earth is a strategic scientific issue we must address. The exploration of deep-seated resources, extraction of deep energy, and construction of deep engineering will become the key areas for scientific and technological innovation in advancing into the deep earth. These deep resources engineering projects are moving towards high-end, intelligent, green, safe, and efficient development, which will yield a series of innovative achievements in theories, technologies, and equipment in the future. We have launched the journal Deep Resources Engineering to publish innovative research results in theories, technologies, and equipment in this field, as well as the practical results achieved in addressing these deep resources engineering challenges. The journal is open to authors worldwide and welcomes submissions from all!
