1. CRediT authorship contribution statement
For research articles with several authors, a statement specifying individual contributions must be provided using the standardized CRediT roles: Conceptualization; Data curation; Formal analysis; Funding acquisition; Investigation; Methodology; Project administration; Resources; Software; Supervision; Validation; Visualization; Roles/Writing - original draft; Writing - review & editing. The statement should list each author followed by their respective CRediT role(s).

(2) If an author is an Editorial Board Member (Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor or Guest Editor) for the journal Deep Resources Engineering, the declaration should be formatted as follows:

(3) If the author or the funding source is associated with a profitable company, the declaration should be formatted as follows:
a. Some of the authors are employees of the company.
Example:
The authors declare the following financial interests/personal relationships which may be considered as potential competing interests: [Author 1 Name] and [Author 2 Name] are currently employed by [Company Name], and [Author 3 Name] is currently employed by [Company Name]. (4) If the article contains questionnaire content, the declaration should include the following information:
It is necessary to state that ethical approval has been obtained (including the approval number) and that written informed consent has been obtained from all participants. All informed consent forms shall be submitted to the editorial office for retention. If the ethics committee of the author's institution determines that the questionnaire poses no harm to participants, ethical approval is not required.
