Liangjie Gu is a Master’s supervisor at Chengdu University of Technology. He is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection. His research focuses on the failure mechanisms and early warning strategies for deep hard rock engineering and excavated slopes. He has published nearly 20 SCI papers in the last five years, holds 6 patents, and has registered 2 software copyrights. He has led several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has received the First Prize of the Green Mine Science and Technology Award and is a reviewer for several renowned academic journals.
